Every task begins with intention. The challenge isn't remembering what needs to be done—it's preserving that intention long enough to turn it into meaningful action. toDō was designed to reduce the friction between deciding and doing.

Rather than overwhelming people with complexity or stripping away useful context, it aims to provide structure where structure helps, while remaining unobtrusive when it doesn't. The system should support your work, not become additional work itself.

Every decision throughout the app follows that same objective: keep the interface clear, the workflow deliberate, and the path from intention to completion as direct as possible. toDō began as a personal system during recovery, when memory and cognitive function became distinctly unreliable. What started as a way to regain structure eventually became an ongoing effort to build a task management system centered on intention, clarity, and momentum.

More than seven years later, that same commitment continues to guide every release. New features are added with care, existing ideas are continually refined, and every decision is measured against the same intention that started the project.
